EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN
INSIGHT:
We live in an era where our viewpoints and beliefs are highly commoditized. This, combined with the digital age has resulted in an era of misinformation and an uptick in the usage of post-truths.
OBJECTIVE:
Information is only as reliable as the people who are spreading, and receiving it. The objective of the experience is to encourage incoming college freshmen to change or improve their ability to seek out and identify reliable information sources, so that the information environment, and social consciousness will subsequently improve.

Tools & Goods
Upon arrival, freshmen will be given a pair of branded glasses that will act as remote polarizers with certain signs and exhibits.
The planners will feature a famous quote from the highly revered UCLA coach, John Wooden. The text will be redacted in a way that completely misinterprets the meaning, and the black stickers are meant to be peeled off to uncover the full quote.
Environmental
During Welcome Week, the experience will be subtle but immersive throughout the campus.

Micro-App for the event. Features Exhibit mode to participate directly with the experience, and investigational games, including a digital scavenger hunt for users to enjoy during and after the event.
